MLA J G Prince urges to investigate murder of Christian in UAEInnocent Indian National Christian Doctor Rajan Daniel has been inhumanely killed by a Pakistani National Mohamed Abdul Jamil at Al Ahli Hospital, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on 1st November 2012. Mohamed Abdul Jamil has stabbed Dr. Rajan Daniel eight times at his throat. Dr. Rajan Daniel survived by his wife Geeta George and daughter Junu who lived with him in the United Arab Emirates. This incident has shocked Christians abroad and at home.

Doctor Rajan Daniel's Killer should be investigated

Adv. J.G Prince, Member of Legislative Assembly of Tamilnadu, Colachel Constituency stated that Doctor Rajan Daniel was an Indian National Christian so the Pakistani National Mohamed Abdul Jamil stabbed him. He urged the Government of India and UAE Government should investigate this issue jointly and the verdict should be concluded on the opinions and conclusions of Honourable Chief Justice of Indian Supreme Court and Apex Court of UAE and the UAE Government should handover the criminal Pakistani National Mohamed Abdul Jamil to the Criminal Bureau of Investigation in India to probe out, whether he has executed things by the back support of Pakistan Government and other terrorist groups.

He demanded the Management of Al Ahli Hospital and UAE Government should grant compensation of Rupees Twenty Crores towards the family of deceased Indian Doctor. He also demanded if the Management of Al Ahli Hospital and UAE Government fails to grant compensation towards the family of deceased Indian Doctor, all Non Resident Indians employing in Medical and Engineering sector and so on should be repatriated from UAE.

Similarly Mr.Sajan George, President of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) stated that this murder indicates the fragility of the Christian community abroad and denounces the grave indifference of the Indian authorities before the brutal murder of a Christian.

India Celebrates World Sunday School Day

The "World Sunday School" was founded with a great challenge to save and shape the children community after seeing thousands and thousands of street children who neither go to school nor to Church by Serampore trio (William Carey, Joshua Marshman, and William Ward) in India at 1803. Every year first Sunday of November, the "World Sunday School Day", was observed by the Churches. Charles Mead

Rev.Charles Mead was the Father of the South Travancore Mission, born on 1st October 1792 at Bristol, Gloucester, England. He was brought up by his uncle Rev.John Hunt at Wakefield, Yorkshire, attended Gosport Missionary School and ordained at Chichester on 6th March 1816. According to the London Mission Society’s report, Rev.Charles Mead was nominated for Travancore as Rev.Ringeltaube’s successor. He married Rev.Hunt’s daughter. He left from England on 20th April, 1816 for Travancore and arrived at Madras on 28th August 1816 along with Rev.Richard Knill, who known as the pastor of the church at St Petersburg. He was received by Rev.Loveless, who was the first England missionary of Madras. Rev.Mead was detained a considerable time at Rev.Loveless’s house at Madras by his wife's ill-health and he studied Tamil.
