Indian Missionary dies due to Cardiac Arrest
Indian Missionary, Chandra Sekhar Prasad who was serving as a missionary in Baraichak Patam, Munger District, Bihar died on August 24, 2012. He was undergoing treatment at GEMS Hospital in Sikaria for the last three days as he was having trouble in breathing and cough. He was diagnosed with pulmonary edema and Ascites (fluids in the lungs and stomach) and was under medication. While he was standing and talking over phone, he suddenly fell. He had gone into Cardiac Arrest. Immediately the doctors revived his heart beat through the usage of Defibrillator. But since he was in serious condition he was taken immediately to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH, Patna) where they had put him on a Ventilator. But not responding to any treatment he passed away last night.

Indian Missionary, Chandra Sekhar Prasad
He was engaged as a missionary in his own village Baraichak Patam owing to his health conditions. Baraichak Patam is a small village near Jamalpur Town in Munger district, in southern part of Bihar. It is situated at the foot of the Munger Ghat (hills) near the Ganges (Ganga) River. About 70 people had accepted the Lord through his ministry and come to church. Baraichak Patam is a field under Bhojpuri 3 Zone of GEMS. The funeral will be conducted this afternoon in Christian Cemetery at Jamalpur by Bro. Benjamin, Zonal Superintendent of Bhojpuri 3 Zone.
His death is bereaved by his wife Kanchan Devi and their five children. The eldest daughter Ruchi Kumari is affected with Polio and is taken care in Dayasagar and is studying in 9th std in GEMS DCC at Sikaria. The third daughter Kajal Kumari is studying in 6th std in GEMS English School, Sikaria and is under the care of Asha Deep. The second daughter Rashmi Kumari who is in 4th std, the fourth son Ashutosh Kumar who is in 2nd std and the last son Ashish Kumar who is in LKG all study in Patam.
